We only get 8-12 inches a year. Mostly in a two month period. I can be a little rough 10 month out of the year, but my personality carries a lot of weight.

My Crohn’s has been largely under control for years with Humira. It’s something that’s always there though. I had a routine colonoscopy early this year and the Doc was very concerned. A subsequent CT showed I needed surgery immediately - then the COVID scam hit and surgery was canceled indefinitely. The CT also showed two very large stones in my right kidney that if not removed could kill the kidney and would need to be surgically removed. Once surgeries were allowed the question was which to do first. Docs decided Crohn’s was more important, so that was done July 28. It was scheduled for 3 hours using robot, and took nearly 7 hours with my belly cut open. That requires a lengthy recovery.

Kidney stone surgery waited a month and was done last week - except he couldn’t get everything in 3 hours, so I had a second kidney surgery this morning.

I hope that’s all behind me now so I can recover. Gastroenterologist says there’s a relatively new biologic infusion treatment for Crohn’s that’s showing huge promise so I start that soon. If one infusion every three months keeps it at bay I’ll be thrilled.

Cliffs: bowel resection surgery in two places followed by two kidney surgeries sucks donkey balls.

I don't know this Crohn guy but I'm familiar with the Stone brothers. All of em sound mean and nasty. Hope things get better.
