Our oven makes you input the current year. Century included. I shit you not. It also loses the current time if we lose power for 16 milliseconds.

Sprinkler and lighting timers...
I even have several regular non digital clocks to adjust.
Exactly how hard would a battery to keep time in appliances be... Our microwave also loses time if power even thinks about flickering. Then requires a ten step non intuitive process to set it.
Now if the stupid OTA tv channels would adjust the programming guides and descriptions to the correct time, seems to take seeks sometimes.

That is what I do with my Vette as its garaged for about 5 months up here in Northern NY.

My DD I do change that one over to current time.

Yeah, just on the stove, the microwave and alarm clock. All out other clocks in the house are analog with batteries.

my fancy chevy truck, with OnStar, can keep track of my oil changes, make phone calls for help if the air bag deploys, and knows where I am...cannot change the clock on the radio. why????

Spence, here is a pro tip. Set your clock back at 7 or 8 p.m. on Saturday night. That way you get an extra hour of drinking in before midnight!!
