Since our son passed away I can't even count how many times a day I pray for his soul...

as i comforted Linda in her last days, I prayed that she not be in pain, that she not suffer needlessly. I told her I loved her, read to her, and assured her that heaven would be wonderful, and that I'd see her again.

We believe that our soul's destiny is determined at the moment we die, we either go to heaven or hell. And no amount of praying after that point can change this.

These days, almost 18 months after she passed away, I pray for wisdom, strength, protection, safety, compassion toward others. I pray for the well being of others I know, I pray for forgiveness of my sins. I pray that when given the opportunity, that I'm able to tell them about the hope that lives in me, that I can clearly tell them about the Gospel of Christ.

And I pray that you may find peace.

I have and still include your wife in my daily prayers...my son passed away alone like my mom did ....I too kissed him and told him we would meet again.
I pray for him asking that on the slim chance he went to hell that I would take his place ...I know it's weird but these are things you think of with heavy grief I suppose.

I used to pray maybe once every other year or two. Now, with many friends and family ailing, probably twice a month at least. I believe in God, but think organized religion is oppressive and encourages lack of original thought. Whatever works for everybody else is fine with me, but don't start wars, rape kids, or steal money from dupes.

I pray daily, and know it impacts my life positively.
I learned this as a child, my mom was devout.

I no longer attend church, as feel many lose their faith because of man.
GOD is not a religion, HE IS THE CREATOR AND PROVIDER!!

I am thankful for all things that I have, very certain I have not earned them all, and this is why I believe GOD exists.

Your beliefs do not concern me, I will not judge anyone for their beliefs.
Hopefully mine do not concern you,,,
