Boost gauge sensor throwing code
I am getting ready for Ed to do some work on my Vette but before I turn over the keys I am fixing a few things. I installed a VAC/boost gauge last year and it started giving bogus readings and I didn’t think much of it. For several months now my computer has been throwing a P1101 code and it started around the time I upgraded my MAP sensor and I assumed I needed to get retuned to fix it, no big deal, been wanting to take it to Ed for months now. The MAP sensor I installed is the same as the ZR1 MAP sensor and I updated the computer parameters for it. This weekend I installed my new boost gauge and took it out for some aggressive runs which would have normally thrown the P1101 but now it isn’t throwing any codes. Looks like the failed VAC/Boost sensor might have been leaking and causing the code. Maybe now I can move onto the next issue.
