Default NetFlix volume........

I have a 55" Samsung Smart TV.....most channels we watch we have volume anywhere from 8 to 12.....when we watch anything on NetFlix the volume has to be between 58 and 100 .....anyone else have this issue?

Yup, they're prioritizing the video bandwidth over the audio, because you can always turn up the volume.

You can also check your tv to see if it has "auto volume" and if so, turn it off, or set it to "normal" considering it's a Samsung.

I used to have that problem, but after cancelling ObamaFlix, I don't have it anymore.

I'm enjoying TubiTV as an alternative. There are a few commercials, but not many, and I have watched a few of their movies with zero commercials, including the Agatha Christie classic, 10 Little Indians.

Crackle overall has too many ads. Looking for more alternatives, as I won't support Netflix and I'm not crazy about Amazon.

LOL. Cancel O'Flix. But seriously, just turn up the sound, or connect the TV to the stereo if you really need it loud. I never saw that as a problem.

We have a Samsung "smart" TV, but prefer to use a Roku rather than Samsung's integrated apps; just works better for us.

Having said that, I recently replaced a Roku & the audio volume coming out of it was quite low. I found that the Roku's audio was set to 5 channel, but we're only using a receiver in stereo mode. When I changed the Roku to stereo audio output, the volume was more normal.

So I'm wondering if your TV or its Netflix app may have a comparable setting somewhere?
