No worries. I got the "I didn't get to go to Crete" ribbon.

I'd heard about Crete often but never had a trip go there. Also, my friends got some cool trips. A quick memory; Istres, France for six months and lived on the economy meaning plenty of per diem. Then, back in the day, Kuwait also paid a ton for per diem. Guys would volunteer for, again, six months. I even knew one guy that worked a deal on a trip. Some how he got a receipt from a hotel for a six month stay. The thing was he didn't stay there one night. He really stayed with his sister. Of course, that was early 90s so before GTCs and all the tracking brought by the internet. Oh yea, he bought a boat.
