Default New Lexus LF-A revealed!

Ugh... the Japanese don't know how to build a beautiful car. It's just a cluster*&^% from a design POV. Cool looking at some angles, but crazy looking at others. I'm sure the performance is great, but the car just doesn't have sex appeal.

I also find it interesting to see that more MFGs are using a rear mounted transmission. Something GM pioneered and brought into mass production w/ the C5 in '97.

Oh... and goes to show you can build a Japanese technical tour de fource type car and not have it weigh 1,000,000 lbs a la GTR

I do love the interior and the undertray and the tech, but not the overall design. Plus, this car was supposed to be a Supra replacement... a car that competes w/ the likes of Corvette, GTR, Porsche etc. etc., but they've obviously gone way up-market w/ this car. It's supposed to be north of $170k.

You're not kidding - just when I think I like it, I see it at a different angle and think . At least it has a nice D steering wheel, and not the 2" flat spot offered by some Vette vendors.

IMO, the front looks badazz, the rear, not so much! The steering wheel needs liss of a flat spot on the bottom...

You realize that flat bottom wheels are for knee clearance when driving on track right?

I love it, wish I could afford it. As far as rear mounted trannies w/torque tubes I believe porsche was doing it long before GM.
