So here's the thing. Say I look down and my badge sensor has changed color. What am I supposed to do? I have just enough time to maybe say a short prayer before I literally puke my guts out and die a horrible death. I mean, I'd rather not know until I actually start dying. What's a few seconds or minutes of the fear and terror of knowing what is coming gonna do for me? I'll still be dead. |

I just did the same job the day after Christmas, what a royal PITA. In my case getting the old one out was the hardest part as the mounting studs were completely corroded, eventually they snapped off and out it came

I also tied my high top boots and always had my pants leg go over the boot, never bloused. Also never had a cuff, had them cut off and sewed shut, no place to let the klinkers find a home! Not looking to win a beautiful welder prize! |

I was an Ironworker from '79 to '83, slip on boots weren't real popular back then. I do see the advantage |

Not that big of a deal I bought good quality high top work boots and all my after work shoes were lace em up types. I still have 2 pair of my high top lace up work boots in the basement. Use them depending on what project I might be doing |
