I would grab those catalogs and make out a list with page numbers of what I wanted, and give to both sets of grandparents. I have great Christmas memories.

My wife was not as fortunate as I was to grow up surrounded by loving family. I feel badly for her each year around this time. Some wounds never heal.

DAMN, I hear about that shit, and can't believe any man could/needs to seriously hit any woman....and I have two ex wives......#2, the kids mon acually picked a fight with me and slapped me on the cheek in the kitchen toward the end....I maybe should have decked her, but NO, it's the kid's mom age 6 & 4 at the time.....

I am SO grateful that me wife here now just grin and help each other out.....
