Im happy they are voicing their displeasure in a peaceful public way, alot of people agree with them on this subject, and I feel that if other groups can do protests and rallys, the KKK should be able to as well...as long as shit stays peaceful.

My first house was in an old neighborhood. Not really run down, but a very blue collar area. Anyway, I had hired a tree service to remove an enormous box elder tree from my yard. I stayed home from work a couple days to make sure they didn't drop it on my house.

The first day I was sitting on my front steps having a couple beer watching the trimmers drop the tree. I had my stereo on which prompted one of the guys to come over and start bullshitting a little. How I remember it Jeff Beck I'll never know, but that's who I had on. Trimmer dude made a comment on the shithole house at the end of the block which was occupied by a black family. The place was a dump and the people living there HAD to be on the .gov teat. Shit laying all over, traffic at all hours of the night, etc.

He said something along the lines of "I see you got some coons living on the corner." I specifically remember the word coons because I hadn't heard that term in years. I played right into his bullshit when I started complaining about them, and their shithole house. Trimmer dude went to his truck and brought me some Klan literature. Apparently there's a Kalvern in one of the small towns nearby. I just took at and set it on the steps.

The next day he and his trimmer buddy returned to finish the tree business and asked if I'd read the things they gave me. Naturally I had, but I told them I hadn't gotten the chance. That was the end of it. Never seen nor heard from them again.

And talk of bad neighbors.....Had a bad one up the hill a way some years ago, doper, left a red bulb in his front light, when it was on, all sorts of cars coming and going all night long, light off, no cars....they drive by alright, but not stop....two full blown SWAT raids , he eventually lost the house to the bank, sold the nice yellow T bucket....he WAS a Cadillac Mechanic with his own business, but his stupid **** wife dragged him down with it....house occupied by a old lady and her son now.....junky looking but quiet....

Another house around the corner, was a rental, section 8, junk cars, bunch of druggie black men hanging around all day....finally something happened, and they moved out, house was completely rehabbed here just recently....and some quiet clean folks moved in, once seen them outside, two clean cars, and no cars during the day, they working, I have to assume....

This is a heavy .mil retired/ex .mil area, so not too much in the way of undesirable neighbors, and the few that are don't seem to last too long...
