Final sanding tomorrow, then I get to paint on Saturday & Sunday so that Randy can get in there on Monday and do the crown molding, base board moding, the fireplace mantle, and all of the rest of that happy horse sh!t.

I hate dust....
Although, there is none in the rest of the house, as I plasticed off the archway on both sides.

2 11 hour days and a 9 hour day today got me to this point.
The wood came out great. I used my Makita palm sander to sand all of those knot patches and you'd never know they were there.
No more drywall dust !!! Tomorrow, one more coat on the walls and then the trim and shelves get done.
I want my kitchen back !!!

You know that your close when the TV is going back up.

A little downer is that my trim guy hurt his back and can't work.
If worst comes to worse, I have another guy that can get it done in three weeks.
Damn, the best laid plans... Oh well, I'm still painting trim but had to quit because bad things were happening. I'll finish that tomorrow, as it actually looks great, but 2 coats
Painting has me bug eyed, so I quit for today and removed all of the tarps and have moved on to installing switch plates, grates, yadda, yadda, yadda.... Now for the TV !

Uh oh.....once the tv goes back you may never get the last 5% of the job done. I'm guilty of doing that all the time. The last touches go on the never never list.

Na... I'll git-R-done... I just have to paint the existing base board molding, shelves, and windows.
The trim and crown are already painted so they'll just need to be touched up whenever Randy's back decides to heal. The base board & shelves will probably be done tomorrow.
