To elaborate a little further. I got into it with CD before he was a mod. He claimed Fed gov't deficits were savings for the rest of society and that everyone should just buy gov't bonds. He got upset when I tried to help him overcome his ignorance but today it's hard to ignore the belief some hold that he's a source of knowledge with prices going up and the type of crap represented by the included chart.

We are in the early stages of a financial disaster that was very much avoidable. If not for the nation as a whole, for individuals that understood the truth as early as possible. When the new mods got started over there, I had a couple of threads and posts removed or closed because the mods or other members got butthurt.

One in particular that stood out but wasn't my thread, was a thread on Gold. It was shut down by a mod, (I think jmg?) just when it was starting to get good participation and I think because he was participating but didn't really understand the subject? It felt like he got mad for being a mod but not an authority on the subject? That's how I read it, at least. He removed a couple of my posts and closed the thread. Later he pm'd and kind of, sort of apologized but the thread was history.

After they banned me years ago, I emailed Jesse and told him in a short paragraph that he was a lousy cop because he clearly didn't have the stones to do what was right and that I'm glad I wasn't his partner as he'd likely allow me to get shot because of a technicality. The man completely lost his shit and sent me a reply that was about as long as the Dead Sea Scrolls (and about as comprehendible) attempting to rationalize Jim's ignorance and stupidity and how I was "looking at things the wrong way" which we all know is a nicer way of saying that he was wrong but couldn't admit it. I got past the first paragraph and responded:

"You write like a 3rd grader, and your balls are about the same size."

Do yourself a favor...walk away, or start a new account. I've had an account over there for years. I used to use it when I had my ZR-1 to get tech info. My name doesn't give any hint of who I am (nor do I ever give that away), my location is different, and I never support anything they do in the way of donations, etc. I haven't logged in there in a very long time, but each time I did, it was me giving the finger to the whole lot of them.

Either you created the account too soon after a ban or you unknowingly gave some hint that tipped them off. When I posted there I was always careful not to give away anything about gender or where I was from.

i waited a few weeks and didn't tell anyone. Is it possible they banned by IP also and the software looks for any incoming/outgoing connections to the banned IP?
