the thread font goes to bold whenever there are new replies that you haven't read, yet. Been that way for years. It still works that way.

Maybe you got old-timers disease and forgot that you have already read the replies?

If you merely use the "Back" arrow, the list does not update. Try using the "Off Topic" button at the bottom of the thread. Or, if you have a shortcut on your toolbar to Off Topic, that will work as well

Once I view or comment in a thread,
the thread title lightens up in the forum list until
another poster adds to the thread. Just like what DJ said.

It does, unless you simply use the back arrow on your browser, and your browser does not reload with the back arrow, but merely displays the last page read.

and when going back to home page.....there is the thread in bold/dark print header.....

Still works for me, but I pay extra for that feature. It could be that they gave it to you for free as a trial and now you have to renew to get it back. Give them your CC number, bank account info and your mothers maiden name.

There should be an option in the browser "settings" which controls the image modification of previously clicked links. I know this because some sites change the color (rather than boldness) of previously clicked links and mine quit working once.

Can't be more specific than that. Was a long time ago on a different browser. Fish around in there and see what you can find... Just try not to make things worse because that can happen
