Had some outdoor projects for today but that ain't happening.

Both the pond and the Camaro projects are on hold. I twisted my bad knee the other day and have been wearing a brace on it. Popping meds all day to deal with the pain and inflammation.

That sucks man, I missed the shovel digging hole for fence and hyper extended left knee (one always gives me fits) while back. Didn't feel it untik 2am that night. I have numerous braces for it from slip on sleeve to full metal supports. I may have canes and crutches also because of it. Spent 2 weeks on crutches couple years ago it was so swollen up. Only time it didn't hurt was in car which i thought very weird. Getting out however...

80 yr old guy i helped out(he had farm next to my work) when i was just starting out owned a bar for 30 or 40 years. Guys would drink their whole lives there, retire and just do nothing but drink and die within a few years. Lots of guys he knew most of his life died off quickly.
So when he was ready to retire he quit drinking sold the bar bought a farm(never set foot on one before) and never stopped moving. It'd be 105 and humid he'd be changing tractor engine. He gave me alot of good advice about getting old.
His wife was bat shit crazy and he knew it.. Told me don't take my advice on women.
He died mid 90s when lost a leg to diabetes and he couldn't get around.
For being 60 years apart in age we had alot in common, I'd go over whenever I could and we'd work on one of his antique cars or a tractor.
