Default Baymax upgrades

GWiz 20'th B'day present early. Mom and GWiz in Charleston, SC having a good old time, and dad home working his ass off.

Baymax gets new headers and exhaust. Disassembly done, headers installed. Tomorrow should be easy.

GWiz was complaining about vibrations from the heat shields. No fixing that unless I replace everything...hence this weekend.

Gonna take it back to the painter. Cracks in the paint on the trunk lid. Should be lifetime warranty, but will have it fixed regardless.

Otherwise, the car is cute as hell. Body is NOT perfect by any means, but appropriate for its genera.

At this time, Baymax is WAY better than Skittles. (The red one she built when she was 15). Baymax gets all of the love these days.

Craig, you have plenty of time to put the exhaust system back together as GWiz's birthday is still over three weeks in the future. Take your time and do it right!

And the engine comes out for a proper steam cleaning, then valve cover change, then total rebuild....

So the only challenge so far is the fact that I bought the kit for a '96 Miata (the new engine came from a 96), which is ODBII compliant, thus pre and post cat O2 sensors. HOWEVER, this is a 95 body, which means is the legacy ODB, thus only the pre cat sensor, so now I have a sensor hole in my down pipe.

Gotta find me an M18 1.5 30 mm bolt to plug it. Thought I had a stock ODB sensor that I could have screwed right in, but I don't. Oh well.

Just looked on ebay and O2 sensors are anywhere from $20 to $35. Might be a better use of your time just to buy a sensor to screw in if you can't find a bolt.

Grainger and Fastenal has bolts that size too.
