As long as you didn't hit another countries border or the North Sea, you can't have been that lost. Yep, some good food if you know where to go. No other fries can compare.

I know it's no Hersheys, but they have some pretty good chocolate. Even in the supermarket (Côte d'Or). And some really good homemade ice cream too.

Ana, I was never so lost in my life. I know it's a small country, but geez, the signage was confusing as hell. Still have no idea where I was or how I got back on track. Pure luck that I didn't just give up and stay where I was.

Maybe it had to do with same cities having 2 different language descriptions. But you made it out. Eventually.

Belgium has great museums, particularly military museums, due in no small part because just about every army that ever existed has been through Belgium. Also, for some odd reason they have a '74 Chrysler New Yorker at their car museum in Brussels. I went half way around the world to see the same POS car I learned to drive in. Great beer, and great beer there, too.
