2 killed in plane crash at North Perry Airport in Pembroke Pines, Florida after hitting car, injuring woman and child.

"The FAA says the single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza crashed shortly after takeoff around 3:00 p.m. Monday. A woman and child inside the car were transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood in serious to critical conditions. The age of the child is not known."

OMG a gal I dated decades ago, her brother was an airline pilot, and owned a Bonanza.......I remember flying in it......in the back seats....

Couldn't tell if it was a V-tail or not.
Those were notorious for going out of control dives like that. Called them "Doctor Killers" because mostly doctors could afford them, and didn't fly them often enough to maintain good skills preventing that sort of dive.

The "forked-tail doctor killer" reputation was partially due to low-skill pilots with plenty of money buying a high-status high-performance airplane without adequate training and partially due to the fact that the tail skins are made of magnesium. Magnesium is highly susceptible to corrosion. Corroded skins caused many V-tail Bonanza's to have in-flight structural failure. This issue is haunting these planes to this very day. As of now, there are no magnesium tail skins in stock, so the fate of the V-tail Bo's may not be up-in-the-air for much longer.

....and we've still missed the actual reason so many Bonanzas have crashed. They have a very narrow range for CG and are prone to being loaded incorrectly. They are called doctor and lawyer killers because early on it was found that both professions think they know it all and can't be told what to do for things like checking CG before a flight. Most of the crashes happened with almost new owners and are attributed to this same issue.
