I know MD went full retard. My late BIL was retired baltimore LEO and retired from the Howard County Sheriff.

When we went to visit the first time, he said to make sure we had a handgun. Since I have a PA carry permit, I kept it unloaded when we got down.

He had a freaking bird. Something along the lines of "an empty weapon is nothing more than a rock" except peppered with a liberal use of the "universal adjective".

He made it clear in no uncertain terms it was to be loaded. When I asked about MD's laws, he handed me his card and said "Have them call me".

Simple. They aren't! With laws like that, kids will never understand or experience the pleasure learning how to shoot,
or learn even the most basic gun safety. A new generation of voters who are ignorant of what the 2d amendment protects!

NJ, NY, CT, and CA seem to be locked in a struggle to see which one can be the most socialist/communist state. At this time, it's hard to see who is losing, it's a pretty damn close race.

I will leave here one day, almost certainly in the next 5 years, highly likely in less than 3. When I go, I can guarantee it will NOT be to one of the other 3 states.

The state is going further into the toilet, however for the same reasons we have been in our first home (schools, neighborhood, friends - roots) we will stay until kids are done with college. Then we are off to the Carolina’s most likely or minimally would be snow birds. I would sooner live in a septic tank full of cow shit before the homeless tard state of Kalifornia though

So I dropped off at the local popo joint (before picking up more vodka and BLUE MOON) and explained the situation to them hypothetically and they were totally bewildered. I explained the law to then and they were stunned. Had no clue how serious it is.

Meanwhile sonny boy (14) is at his friends place (Dad is ex marine) without gun and I have discussed with wife - tell son to gift to friend. Use whenever there. Alternatively take a sledgehammer and drop in garbage. My preference is #2 so the issue is done.

Are airsofts firearms?
No. They are considered to be toys in New Jersey. The plastic pellet ammunition utilized for an airsoft contain a hollow cavity which do not conform to a solid projectile.
