Optimal viewing distance of any screen is 1.5 x screen diagonal.

15' deep is just fine for a 92" TV.

Right. It not like it used to be with the standard definition sets. Is that a projection TV. I was going in that direction but seeing the various sizes side by side showed me that as the size increased, the brightness decreased on the DLP units. Although, the sets could have been adjusted differently, too.

you see i have a wrap around couch so the farthest away will be 15' but the way my couch is situated the nearest would be like 6' wouldnt that be too close?

11.5' is optimal. 6' would be close but watchable. Motion sickness could be an issue though at that short distance.

I think way too small but I like the "theater" experience. Well except for the rude people, screaming kids, overprice snacks, etc..

Your needs may differ.
