Wow, here in Central FL, I think I pay an averaged $.07. That's why my PHEV is such a good deal and why I didn't install solar on my house. There is no ROI.

You would think that after CENTURIES of failed ideas attempting to leap frog ahead of natural progression, that companies would be a bit more short sighted and less forward thinking.

Advancements seem to have a natural evolutionary flow to them and anytime someone or some company attempts to rocket too far too fast, it fails.

I think society wants the future in bite sized pieces, not force fed in huge amounts.

Solar arrays on an industrial scale is an enormous "green" fraud. I use the Nellis AFB solar array as an example. It cost 103 million to build, but only generates 1.3 million dollars worth of electricity. Sooooo....assuming you never had to replace anything, which obviously is not the case, it would take you 100 years just to get your money back. Yeah, the math ain't mathin'....
