Another CL Score !! Two Fiddy Man !!!

This thing came from a very affluent neighborhood and is in perfect condition.
The leather is soft, and it's a sleeper sofa, with a very nice mattress.
It is IKEA.
She took $250.00..... I couldn't offer $200, as it was in that good of shape.
2 years old... I love CL !!

Hell ya I checked.
I sniffed 'em too... I was hoping, but nuttin' !!!
The mattress cover is already washed and drying in the sun.
There wasn't a stain to be seen.
I cleaned the leather with the leather cleaning kit that she gave us with the couch. It looks wayyy better than in the picture that I posted.
It is going in my office.
I'm happy

Every sq. inch has been cleaned and washed in the washing machine, even though it was already very clean.It's perfect !!

My living room is done except for the fireplace mantle.
My finish guy builds $6k hunting blinds, and tis the season, so the mantle can wait until those are done.
Profit margin... ya know ?
I ordered flooring for the entrance way and the hallway to the bedrooms and bathroom, so once all of that is done, I'M DONE with this old farm house!!
It took 12 years but it was most satisfying.
What's next? The exterior....

That's a good deal, I'm looking for something similar for one of the cabin bedroom. Kind of want to set it up as an office, but want the ability to have a bed for guests just in case..

We got a similar give away deal on a 3 seat sofa and matching love seat, same overstuffed style, but in white leather....guy/wife across street had it out in their garage and something else in it's place, I asked what he doing, so asked how much 150 bux, could not peel the vette to the bank fast enough....

one thing about Florida, household possessions down here are worth nearly nothing.....

Same here. I've been stalking CL for over a year for a sleeper sofa.
They are rare, but when they do come up, they are either shot or not in as good of condition that I want.
We actually ordered one from a furniture store, but it went out of business, so no go on that one.
Everything happens for a reason.
This is in my office and will be used when guests come over.
It looks brand new and still smells like leather... I love leather ! Yay !!

Pro Tip: Cleaning Leather

I never knew this but I followed the directions that were on the leather cleaning kit and it came up just perfectly.
1) Squirt the cleaning solution on the sponge provided
2) Squeeze the sponge until it foams
3) Wipe the leather, starting from the edges with the FOAM..
4) When foam runs out, DO NOT CONTINUE WIPING.
5) Start at #1 again

Apparently the foam is what does the trick. Wiping it with just a wet sponge does not work.
