i have been to two.... both in mexico.....i had no problems with either as both did have activities for you to do and games to play with others......but you do get off and go and do other things.....altho we did eat most meals on the resort we ate a few off....the meals were very good, and i think actually better than off the resort...
......have never been to an adult only......

There are several Palace Resorts in the Cancun area. They run shuttle buses between them so you can try eating at resteraunts in the other places if you want to

Dos Palmas Island Resort & Spa

Fridays Boracay Philippines, Beach front, Delectable Foods, White Sand Resort, Beach Front Weddings, Vacation and Accommodation

Go for the gusto. Topless and, if you want, bottomless resorts.

Dos Palmas owns the entire island the resort is located on so that will tell you who makes the rules.

Fridays is located along the stretch of beach with all the other resorts. Topless is common, booze and meals can be brought to your chair while sitting on the beach, and life will be good.

The Moon Palaces in Mexico are great, and the Radisson Cable Beach in the Bahamas, is nice, if you don't want to spend Atlantis money.

Excellence Playa Mujeres. Adults only. Very nice resort. Seven different themed restaurants. I've been several times. Nicest resort I've ever been to. Food is excellent, and the liquor they serve is the cheap crap either. It's just north of Cancun.

Sandals Royal Caribbean in Jamaica.

I consider myself a pretty decent cook, so I have pretty high standards when I go to restaurants. I expected the 'quantity not quality' thing but was pleasantly surprised by the restaurants there...all of them were enjoyable.

Also stayed at Trelawny Resort in Jamaica before it became a Breezes property...was nice years ago but don't know about recent years. Not sure if it went all-inclusive (probably not).

We went there in 2010. Food was really good. We didn't have as much fun as our trip to Sandals Montego Bay, though.

Best food we've had at an all-inclusive resort so far is at the El Dorado Royale on the Riviera Maya.

Club med.. sandpiper florida i believe, not adult, but was an AWESOME experience.. than again I was also a kid at the time. They have adult only resorts as well, but the sandpiper location isn't adult only.

I wouldn't mind going back to an all-exclusive if they didn't cover alcohol in the plan. When we tried an all-exclusive, too many people didn't know how to say no when the drinks are 'free'.

It's fun for a day or two, but after that, putting up with a bunch of out-of-control drunks by the pool and in every restaurant gets tiresome.

I see that more at the lower end, non-couples resorts.

They get much more rowdy.

At the higher end ones most people seem to stay under control. Very different atmosphere.

Worked at one last year. Was through wyndham vacation resorts. They have family and adult resorts. I work at the bonnet creek resort in Orlando, but it's family oriented. I would check the vacation resorts. There are over 200 resorts worldwide.
