This will be my 6th Vette, and 6th black Vette. Nearly every car we've owned in the last 20 years (not counting GWiz's Miatas) has been black. I started working at a car wash when I was 14, and have been detailing cars since then. I'm kind of an expert in taking care of black paint.

I miss my black '98 Supra Turbo.

I'm pretty sure that DixieRobVet would pick Datafiz up at the airport, and give him a ride to Bowling Green.

Same. My first car was a black lacquer '69 Chevelle SS396 and my brother had a new '75 black, Cutlass Supreme. Mom bought a new '79....black...Cutlass Supreme. I just didn't know back then you are grinding surface contaminates into the paint, if you don't hose it off first. And using regular harsh cotton wash clothes over and over and the one bucket of soap.

Look at this insanity. My '98 Black Supra still only has 14k miles and is bone stock. Look at these 4 1997 cars for sale, and their corresponding mileage.

White privilege. If someone is going to have a single black friend, Supra isn’t a bad choice.

Got my full VIN from Shane. Last 5 are 22056. Looks like tomorrow is the day it will be built.

This makes NO sense. I understand the market is bizzaro-world right now but this is another level.

Supply and demand. They made more 2005 Corvettes then they did from 1994-1998 for the entire Supra MKIV run. If my memory serves me right, there were only 680 1998 Supras sold. How many of those remained bone stock is minuscule. There are tons of examples of 1997 Supras with 60-100k for $140-150k.

In the end, it's a cult investment car...same as the same gen RX-7.

Nah, fly to Nashville, rent a car from Enterprise, drive it to the Museum and leave the keys with them for Enterprise to pick up, and then drive the C8 home.

Supra prices were big time long before the bizzaro market we have now.
