You allergic to math PDQ?

Those jobs weren't "created or saved" (a stat that didn't exist until January of 2009). They were bought. On credit.

I'm not disputing that people who didn't have jobs now have them. But what are those jobs? Manufacturing? Engineering? Entrepreneurs? Nope. Mostly road construction and public works projects. The infamous "shovel ready" slots that are going to manual laborers.

We aren't building an economy, we are simply putting people into stop gap project employment that isn't increasing the tax base. In a system where 50% of the population doesn't pay taxes and relies on the top 10% to carry the cost of government and it's spending, most of those jobs will not pay the salaries required to even make minimally taxable wages.

you said:
"people that didn't have jobs now have them" ok at least you aren't in denial there. taxes aren't everything when it comes to our economy. those jobs will enable people to buy. you can't buy squat without a job. our economic engine is fueled by purchasing power & that's one of the main reasons it stalled. "those jobs weren't created or saved" ORLY? what would you call the autoworkers keeping their jobs? I'd call that a pretty good "save." what would you call the 3 + million workers directly dependent on the auto industry as vendors & sub contractors? ditto. 50% may not pay taxes [now] but they contribute a helluva lot more than 50% to the economy with purchasing power. I think my "math" is right on.

A great many of these claimed "created jobs" in the stats are census workers - Temp positions hired by gov't that we still pay for. No different/better than welfare.

What are the stats in the manufacturing sector and GDP? Ya know, the actual production of this country? Not quite as optimistic..

And in which sector has the new administration created millions of jobs? (you claimed it first - post up the details)

Again after almost 18 months of the Messiah steering us towards BR, it is still Bush's fault, the latest poll show's the Messiah at a 42% favorable and 56% disapprove, that is really a sinking feeling, like the stock market lately. How many GM, Chrysler Factories closed, they saved a few, oh and the ripple effect on the down stream was huge 9.9% does not lie

Bush & Reagan both started their terms with low poll numbers. polls are like the stock market. they rise....they fall. good analogy on your part. I believe Bucky mentioned "where" the new jobs are being created. you might check his posts. the problem here is you guys don't trust the evil socialist government & any stats they report is a "lie" according to you. even if it's a bipartisan commission where the Pubs are involved in the numbers. all I have to hear is stuff like "Messiah" & I know where the poster's opinions come from.

that depends on what you are talking about. if you are talking about a costly war for oil based on WMD lies if you are talking about the largest outsourcing of American jobs in our whole history there's more.

All we here from the Messiah's admin is it is Bush's fault after 18 months is getting old, spending trillions with out postive resutls is still Bush's fault, like the oil spill response, the zero or close to zero response to the Nashville 500 year flood disaster, not enouth people of color to help out so they do not even warrant a visit from the annointed one. His fix spend money we do not have, who cares about the future, spend baby spend and spend some more a trillion here and a trillion there is just pocket change, and while the annointed one is at it time for a vacation in Chicago nothing is needing fixed in America, HC is passed, Crap and Tax will be soon and we will send some National Guard to the border all is great now, oh the oil spill who cares we will nationalize the oil companies so this will not happen again, like all those jobs saved in the Auto industry with my tax money, yes we closed a boat load of factories, and lots of suppliers also went up in smoke. Spend, spend, spend all is going to be ok just let the Govt do everything for us

the truth never "gets old." the Bushes,Clinton & Reagan just about ruined this nation for the working middle class. not to mention turned most of our allies into enemies. if anything is getting "old" it's the utterly stupid talk like "Messiah, anointed one, foreign born,Muslim, racist, half breed,communist/socialist, condescending [one minute] & bowing, apologetic [the next]" absolute tripe that comes from alcoholic/junkie shock jocks & is repeated by low information sheeple that hang on their every word like it was coming from God Almighty Himself.

Neither one of those fit me.

I'm a Libertarian. I don't like telling people what they can or cannot do.

PROGRESSIVE; in everything I do. That’s why I drive a Corvette.

If I was Conservative … well obviously I wouldn’t be driving anything like a Vette.
