stunning!!! I wish I could have gotten the clear bra for mine - I wanted it done - 8 months and 17k miles later, I've already got rock chips in the paint.

Can't wait to see her in person!!

You did the smart thing with getting the entire hood covered with Clear Bra. I opted for the front bumper and 1/3 of the hood/fenders on my C6. I don't think I drove it more than 3 times and I had a rock chip about a foot up the hood away from the Clear Bra.
The car had clear bra on it but it was a few years old, and it only went up half the hood. It does start to dull after a bit, and clear technology has improved greatly. I felt it was time for a fresh wrap as well as doing the entire hood. The body panels on the car are aluminum, and body work is exPENsive!

I watched the guy do the hood. It doesn't look that hard, but it takes a steady hand and a surgical blade (literally) to make the cuts properly.

I want to expand my services by doing 3m clear bra, but haven't been able to find someone to teach me, nor where to find the stuff at cost to start building inventory. And with school getting closer to the end. It's been on the back burner

Just to keep the dust off, which I get tons of. I always covered my nicer cars in the garage. Those covers can't be used outdoors anyway.

Wait...you're moving here? Not that I blame you, but when did this come about? Amarillo isn't as far as New Jersey.

Let me know when you're here. Rides for everyone.

Suh-wheet! Never been aboard a 'Ghini at speed. Sat in a Countach once at the Labor Day Annual Corvette Homecoming in BG back in 2000. Look forward to puttin' another notch on me old bucket list.

Amarillo ? Who did you piss off ? I think I'd become a bum in the Keys before I'd move to Amarillo.

I looked at a 1988 Countach Quattrovalvole. Revolutionary design but geez it's a rough car to drive. Extremely hard clutch, manual steering...not for me. We're not even talking about the zero visibility. Oh and parts? IF you can find them, get ready to open up your checkbook.

Tinkering with old muscle cars made me nuts...I don't need an Italian sportscar to tinker with.

Chartis Insurance apparently has a big ole office in Amarillo...on the plus side, I have a company laptop and could live virtually anywhere and work from home...

I'm hoping they lay me off with a happy severance package and then
I can move , unencumbered and find another job

we'll see how this works out

Mike, I've been tossing around the idea of moving to Texas for about 10 yrs now I didn't want to abandon my kids, but one of them has decided it will be a fun adventure and will come with me...

I moved here almost 20 years ago and never looked back. I love it here. A bad day in Amarillo is better than a good day on the east coast.

We'd love to have you, and you'd have ton's o' friends here to sponge rides off of...

I'm keeping my Jeep though
so the fun riding will just be occasional, and far from sponge like

"How much did it cost?"

"How fast does it go?"

"Must be nice."

"How come the doors don't go up?"

"Adopt me?"

"Wanna trade for my Mustang/Civic/Work Truck?"

"Compensating?"
