Geez dude, no reason to try to hard-sell me on the car. I mean, if you were desperate to get rid of it at a fire sale price, I could be convinced to pay some drastically reduced amount just to take it off your hands. I mean, it's not like I really want the car or anything.

OK, truth be told, I have been drooling over the black C8s; I think they look awesome! My wife likes the look of the cars too, and is ready for me to move on from my C3, which she won't drive because it is a manual. She heard that ALL C8s are auto, and has become a LOT more interested in me selling the C3, and getting a C8. I have been quietly marketing the car (I need to fix some more stuff first before I want to list it), and I am parroting the regular buyer's bullshit I have been hearing.

If I got a C8, I might try a little autocross, but have no interest in an actual racecar, so I'm sure your car isn't right for me, but someone is going to get a hot ride!

With the exception of an aftermarket front swaybar, and a proper alignment, car is 100% stock.

Having driven a C6 and C7 cross country, I gotta disagree. The C7 is plenty comfy and for long hauls. (and both my C7's have been M7s)

Congrats on the progress!!

I am still number 400 at ciocca, my math says another 30-42 months based on how the reservations have been moving.

I am not sure if I will stay in the line, as I see a used market in 3 years, and definitely see all dealers with allocations accepting a price at MSRP.

Besides, that Blackwing with the manual is calling my name.

I have not driven or purchased a car for myself since 1986 that was not a manual.

You're a big dude. Can you put a decent seat and restraints in the car and still stay in the same class? My C8 is way too much for the seats. Always seem to be floating. Still looking for a good solution.

I've been fortunate to be able to race with the top off, granting me a more optimal seating position.

On a side note, I've been on the generic version of Ozempic for the last 5 weeks, and I've lost 30 pounds. I'm going to continue until I get into the 250's. Started at 325, today I was 294.2.
