Skipped a post or fifty, but why are all the ground animal flesh products gone? What does that say about the stockpilers?

Yesterday Sam's Club's parking lot was absolutely packed, and someone who went there sent a picture to my wife which showed the meat department pretty much stripped bare. Meanwhile my wife stopped by Food For Less, which is literally four blocks away at most, and they not only had two big pallets of toilet paper, but their meat department was fully stocked and my wife picked up several things that will get us through this next week easily meat-wise.

My wife picked up two of the 12-packs of toilet paper and gave one to her elderly parents and the other to our friend who mentioned he was running low and couldn't find any. Supposedly Sam's Club is having a daily truck full of toilet paper and other paper products delivered, and even that isn't enough to keep up with their demand at that store. Wal-Mart supercenters, which there are several around here, are similarly affected.

It's pretty comical what people are buying like crazy. If they just got a big bottle of Clorox bleach, they could do a whole lot of sanitizing up in their shazizzle.

Ground beef and boneless chicken breasts are a staple of our diet here. I feed my dog about 2/3 of a chicken breast in the morning, and about 5 oz. of ground beef in the evening. My wife and I use ground beef and chicken for a wide variety of our meals. Luckily, when I went to the store yesterday, they had plenty of ground beef, and chicken breasts were even on sale for $1.99 per pound. I bought about a week's worth, which is what I do every week. Hopefully they will still have it when I go to replenish.

Same here, luckily i made and froze a couple weeks of doggo food on Monday.

Yesterday morning, I went to the grocery store and wanted a sleeve of sausage. I know it sounds crazy, but I have company, and wanted to make sausage gravy and biscuits for breakfast. Not a sleeve in the whole store. I did make do with one of the last boxes of pre made patty's and the half sleeve I already had. I don't get it. I did however get some TP, because well, I needed some, but only what I would get any other time....And..all of that was about gone.

Don't understand why YT vids sometime embed and sometimes they dont?
You've got too much shit in the URL:

https://www.youtube.com/watch? time_continue=132& v=wA4KS546rZo& feature=emb_title

Remove the time_continue and feature parameters:

https://www.youtube.com/watch ? v=wA4KS546rZo (of course, no spaces)

Just left Sam's Club. Shelves were even more empty than last week. Asked a worker when are they shutting the doors for good. The only thing they are not running out of is TVs.

Trump on the tv told people calm down, ceo of walmart asking people to buy normal amount. They're buying 3 to 5 times usual amount. Walmart doing more business than at Christmas time.

Met two other couples for a late lunch today at a seaside resort town, took a few minutes to find a parking spot, place was packed, people all over the place. Friends said they were shopping this week at a local big box store, shelves were full.
Who the hell knows, the MSM has this country so f*cked up........

At the supermarket today I filled my cart with individual rolls of Scott TP.

As I walked down every aisle I randomly put them on the shelf.

Will be lots of happy people finding TP.
