Nothing more than connecting the threats made to Julian Assange, trying to get him to take $1,000,000 from a fake "dating site" and then saying he diddled an 8-year-old girl and also threatened his lawyer by posting creepy details of her private residence, with the Hillary campaign.

So yeah, there's precedent for him doing what he wants no matter what the people around him advise him to do.

Has he ever said one thing and done another? Ever? If so, (and let's be honest here we all know he has) then there is nothing legally binding him to do what he says/promises.

If anyone wants to 100% trust he will keep his word, more power to them. My experience tells me not to do that though.

So your argument is that the first almost completely self-funded POTUS candidate, well, he's not beholden to others. He doesn't always listen to his "handlers", while obviously Hillary can be counted on to fully make good on whoever she owes her allegiance to, or who can reliably make her do their bidding behind the scenes. This is a negative to you?

So, just to get this straight, if you've ever said one thing but did another, like every single politician since forever, then you can't be counted on to do the one super highly-visible thing that requires both houses of Congress to approve, whereas some politician could be counted on this because of their ability to let others tell them what to do.

I predict you'll say "Well, I didn't mention anybody else, just Trump." Well, there's Hillary. We know for sure she'll do whatever she's told, she owned lock, stock, and barrel by Wall Street and dozens of foreign entities.

I don't know what else he could do to "earn" your vote. He didn't need to run for POTUS. All these false allegations of groping and whatever is exactly what one would expect from the Clintons, he knew what he was up against and yet he still did it. He knew the GOPe would be against him the whole way. He knew powerful forces behind the scene would be. The entire media. Yet he has put himself out there and absorbed blow after blow, largely self-funded, when he could have saved himself several hundred million dollars, not been blackballed by gutless prior associations like when the PGA pulled their event from his golf course last year. He brought the extremely important issue of illegal immigration to the forefront, when all the GOPe did was lie to us, and only a last minute primary loss by Eric Cantor stopped the Rubio/McCain treachery that was the Gang of Eight.

He's made his family open to very unfair public attacks on their characters, but they have accepted their roles with grace. He's made plenty of substantial policy positions that are actually quite refreshing, and he doesn't have a bunch of money-men behind the scenes to call in favors. I honestly don't know what someone needs to do to "earn" your vote, it sounds like it is nigh impossible.

That's a stupid question. First of all, anything to come out about him now, with less than three weeks to go, better have the documentation and proof good enough to stand up to legitimate scrutiny and not just be more baseless accusations. But I can say that if I found out that his campaign had been funding dirty tricks against other R primary candidates, and that he had operatives start riots, that would do it. You know, the stuff Hillary's campaign has been doing, with the full approval of Obama and the DNC, for the last 16+ months. Oh, and the proof of that is undeniable. Just ask recently-fired Foval and Creamer. The latter who has met with Obama some 47 times and been to the White house over 350 times in the last 7 years.

You wouldn't know it by listening to any MSM outlets, including the utterly exposed Fox News, but all those women Gloria Allred trotted out have been rather well proven to be making stuff up. When even your family members say you're lying, it's pretty bad. In 30+ years of public life, I'm sure there are recordings of Trump saying stuff that would be embarrassing but even imagined outrages that may be out there can't even approach what we know the Clintons are guilty of. Just today a very credible woman came out and spoke how Bill Clinton sexually assaulted her back in 1980. But you know, Donald said *****.

I've been consistent about pointing out why I'm for Trump since he first announced he was running. I've been far more right about this election than 90% of the "journalists" and "pundits" out there. Probably more than 99% honestly. I'm not really proud of that, it shows how deeply corrupted our supposed gatekeepers have become.

Oh for crying out loud, Hillary was sharing classified information in her "secret" speeches to Goldman Sachs and the like. Oh, and guess what? You can almost hear the cackles as she explains how they schemed to frame an innocent man for the attempted assassination of the Saudi Arabia ambassador so they could blame it on Iran, because they wanted something to make Iran look bad to the Saudis. So yeah. BTW TxAg, this is the sort of thing that if Trump did it I would not vote for him. BTW, guy got 25 years. He's in prison right now.

As someone who has a degree in journalism, the crap we see on display today is NOT what was taught in the classes I attended. Quite the opposite.

I will say the conversation here has been civil. Many opinions have been shared and everyone has spoken freely without repercussions. I'm glad to say no one has shared classified info, been involved in shady or smearing tactics on other posters, gotten into a physical fight, and most importantly, has dumped shit in a parking lot.
