Driving down the street last night, I saw a pick up truck on the shoulder. Slowing, thinking something might be wrong, I was mistaken. The couple had cut a nice spruce from the roadside and was loading into their truck.

So, while not illegal, it's kind of a cheapo thing to do. Or interesting, nonetheless.

Oh, hell no.

Thankfully, my cats have no interest in our tree. They just lay under it on the tree skirt. They do pull bows off of presents, though. So, I don't put them on until the last minute.
