Brad is 100% correct with his comments on merging. Whether it's getting on the freeway or changing lanes on a city street, incompetent drivers slow down, flip on their turn signal, and sit there waiting for other drivers to slow down and let them in. This is trtsrded on many levels. For one thing, none of the people around you want to be stuck behind some slow-driving idiot, so relatively few of them are going to slow down and make a hole for your incompetent ass. For another thing, unless the road is at a dead standstill, there is always a gap large enough to fit your car just a little bit farther up the road, so if you would just speed the **** up you could easily merge into it withough disrupting anybody else.

Sadly, no amount of driver education is going to eliminate this behavior. Autonomous vehicles becoming mainstream is our only hope.

As most didindus are too lazy to walk up a looooong driveway. To find a dog, lights, camera etc. to much risk that fire back
