I'd love to have another big block Shark. While the 454 in my '74 coupe was a boat anchor when I bought it, it was made glorious sounds when I was done fixing it.

Since I was a kid, this was my favorite car.

Will never forget the day my Dad called and said “I found us one Kid!”

He was so excited to do the resto w/me as I was excited to do it with him. He was going to finish the Jag first. So, yea, this car is more than just a car and holds a lot of sentimental value. Unless I have no choice, not selling her!

Well, you answered something I was thinking. If I was in your mess, maybe think outside of the box. Maybe find some guys that build lowriders. They do some good work

I woke the beast back in the 80's with a .060 over original LS7. I spent 14 months, nights and weekends doing the machining, balancing, and cc work. It was an L88 on drugs! Well over 600 hp, and pulled the gear north of 7,500!

Would this be a good place to play “name that part” or should I start a thread over there in the C3 section?

Here is my first part. Yea, it’s a bolt captain obvious. But sure does it go? I have 11.

There is white paint on the heads so I assume some place that has exposure to the outside.

If you get lucky Dub drilled small holes in hinges for alignment before he removed the doors. Won't be very big, 1/8 or so.

Damn dude! You’re awesome. He indeed did that I think. See picture. Wondered what that hole was!

Probably NOT those as the frame is still intact with old top still installed.
