Walks surprisingly well on leash already. Tv absolutely freaked him out so had to turn it off.

Four legged chewing machine crashed finally. Need to adjust food intake and a few days to adjust to water should settle the belly down. He's getting more comfortable now, starts whining and gnawing on my hands and arms means hold me I want to goto sleep. Holding a toy whining and looking upset means I'm 2 minutes late taking him outside. Those damn puppy nails are ruining me, hot today but had to wear long sleeves and long pants around him.
Wearing his rope toys and tennis balls out. He hasn't ran across anything didn’t need a test chewing so far.

Friend goes in around 10am for brain surgery, 3 or 4 extremely small spots of cancer they said need to come out before get larger. Also doing some 4 or 5 day brain scanning thing where they wire whole head up since will have to stay for 5 days minimum anyway. Day or two of mild sedation mainly to keep from getting migraine they said. So hopefully hear from him Friday. Should be fine. He had major brain surgery way back and lived. Having a stroke this time is his biggest worry as literally had to relearn everything the last time.

kind of a quiet night in here, huh?
Rough night/morning, no sleep for either of us.
Probably headed for hospital admittance later today.
Second (and last) antibiotic meds not working. There
are only 3 available antibiotics for CDI, Marianne has
had both FDA approved drugs, but with this being her 4th bout,
they've now failed completely.
Next option is infusion of human antibodies requiring
hospital stay, which will also expidite evaluation for FMT - Fecal transplant.
We got an appt for Oct 3rd for the FMT evaluation, but she won't make it that
far out. The actual FMT is done via a colonoscopy.
Protocol bull-literally-shit. Who the hell participates (as a human donor) for
the next two therapies she'll go through?
Kind of weird things going on.
Gaining weight the past week due to cancer drug water retention,
swelling on the left side (arm, leg, and face).
Started losing weight Saturday, can't hold food down since Sunday.
Virtual Dr visits because the bathroom episodes just happen at anytime.
This will be a tough go - not looking forward to any of it. ~50-50 chance she
makes it to the bathroom now.
Marianne has not done well during her past hospital stays, getting down to 86 lbs the last visit. She's at 100 and falling right now - a 10lb gain in the past week, but it's all water gain. She certainly isn't gaining by eating.
