I passed.

4 Hour Oral, 2 Hour Flight. It has been a journey.

I am legit now...

Been flying for 20 and finally got it done.

Laziness pays off.

Riding in a plane as a News/Traffic reporter for a Radio Station. Sure, I took the controls from time to time when necessary, but yeah officially I didn't do that either.

Awesome.
I soloed and did some cross country flights but never got my license as I ran out of money then life took over. I have about 70 hours of stick time in my logbook.
All I know is I know how to fly and can do it if I had to. I have my A&P license and have worked on commercial airliners so if the pilots ever become incapacitated I could land the plane. Might dent it a little but I could get it on the ground.

It's good you are an A & P, pilots have to have heroes too!
