I got mine cut this week. This total lock down thing is insane and will prove one day to be a mass hysteria. We have 40,000+ flu deaths per year, nobody cares. Swine flu killed 12,000+ people in 2009/2010 and nobody cared. This is so overblown it's ridiculous. If you're in a big city, squished in shoulder to shoulder and taking public transport everywhere, OK I can see a shutdown for awhile. Or make it illegal to be outside without a mask. But shutting down rural communities and destroying small businesses on the off chance somebody gets COVID-19, when there are treatments for it that are low cost and effective (that the MSM are going out of the way to hide/denigrate) is again - insane.

My wife usually cuts my hair, so it won't impact me.

Even if she didn't, I have been known to put a #1 comb on the electric and take care of business myself.

When I was in my 20s, I actually had nice hair. Between the thinning and greying that have occurred over the last 3 decades, I can only just barely rock a "full head of hair", so if I **** up the #1 comb thing, I'll just shave it to the skin. The world will have lost nothing in the process.

Mine turned gray early, and is damn' near white now but it grows like a mofo. I usually get a #2 cut but, I don't trust anyone in this house to pull that off.

Then there is only one sensible choice: grow a mullet!

I need a Camero first. I've sourced two IROC's but they won't sell 'em.

I have to get hired soon, I may have to do that. I don't want to go in looking like Grizzly Adams.

I get my hair cut every 2weeks with a 1.5 and it's past two weeks and already looking goofy.

I might just do the hair clipper thing like Moe suggested at some point.

When you have longer hair it takes a while before it starts looking weird. Not so much when it's super short.

I agree except for the haircut part.

My barber cut my hair today.
She's been doing it for 40 + years.

Closed here. She does live close and may do it, I just hate to ask.

I'm not sure I totally agree. When I was 20-25 years old, yeah, I could grow my hair as long as I wanted, and it would still look good. But what I have observed for years is "the less hair you have, the shorter you have to keep it to avoid looking like a dork".

Like I said, I still have enough hair that I can pull off the "full head of hair" thing, as long as I keep it less than maybe 3" long at the longest point. If I try to wear it longer than that, there just isn't enough hair to pull it off, and I look like some kind of dork preparing for a really bad combover of some kind.

I accept the fact that even at this time, I might be giving myself too much credit for head hair.

Was thinking I would grow mine out again anyway. Let it go shoulder length when I retired but cut it a year or so ago. I've never had a buzz cut in my life and have no plans of change that.
