It won’t really hit us until Friday and won’t be a hurricane by then. We’re high enough that no storm surge can reach us. No way I’d ride this one out in Tampa.

If we get flooding at our house most of the island will be underwater. We weren’t even required to get flood insurance, but we got it anyway since it’s subsidized by taxpayers in other states.

Currently making room in my Florida 2 car garage that is about 36 inches narrower than a 2 car garage in the rest of the universe. Every car we own has a glass roof. My 15 gets the garage next to the 63 because it is low enough to fit under the bikes. My daughters’ Caddy and BMW, along with my wife’s BMW are going to go in a local parking garage. Hoping for a miracle like Hurricane Charlie, but I think we are gonna get smacked.
