Needing new A6 soon
I was planning on upgrading my A6 for a winter project now I am thinking I won't make it. Last night while cruising down the highway, going about 75 or 80 in fourth and hit the fun pedal and felt the tranny slip a little. I slowed down to 60 and hit it while in third and it slipped again. Needless to say I took it easy most of the way home. Good thing I have AAA, I might need to use it soon.
My winter project was going to be fuel pump upgrade, upgraded A6 (clutches and shaft), 3200 torque converter, hardened differential with 3.42 gears and Quaife gears. Am I missing anything while under there? I will be calling Ed @ VASpeed Tuesday, I don't know if I will have the time to do this work myself this summer. One more thing, anyone have a credit card I can borrow?

Sorry to hear your CC is maxed, looks like I might have to use my own.
