Default What color cars have you owned?

I think that most people stick to one or two favorite.

I've owned practically all the colors.

What say you?

Can't think of a color that I haven't owned. Color preference depends on the car, certain cars look better in certain colors. Only rule I have is not black, black is not a color, it is a career.

You have a lot more choice when you buy new. If you're a used buyer, color is kinda low on the list of criteria most of the time, at least it *should* be.

I think I've owned most of the colors at least once. Done the black thing a few times, never again.

Most unusual color owned was '95 Trans Am Blue-Green chameleon paint that changed depending on the angle and lighting... back when that was a thing.

Currently C5Z LeMans Blue and 2500HD Victory Red.

A couple of red, one blue, a couple black, but most were white...silver, and gray.
(mostly trucks)

What I found interesting thinking about this is the drift towards silver and gray as I aged.

Indeed.
I believe I have washed my gray pickup twice in 3 years.
Currently it is so dirty the paint is a dusty gray/brown taupe kind of color.
And the interior looks like prison riot.

The newer flat-ship gray (think battleship) that is popular now looks like cr@p to me, it IS good to see some of the vibrant blues and yellows coming back though.

I agree. I hate the various shades of white/dark white/silver/light gray/dark gray/ yadda yadda. When looking for a new car, that's mostly what dealers have on the lots.

Not sure why they're so popular; not really pleasing to the eye, and they're hard to find in a big parking lot if you're out shopping.

I bought a '23 Mazda CUV and wanted either blue or red. I got red, optioned the way I wanted, although red was an optional color. Parking lots are full of SUV types but at least mine stands out somewhat.

I didn't list all 26 vehicles I've had, but I had a brown '62 Chevy II, it was used so no choice of color. It was a tough little car.

Other than the '96 Collector's Edition Vette, which only came in grey, everything else has been either blue or black.

I've had red, white, blue and brown, but for the last 30 years or so, every single new car I've purchased has been black.

With the amount of cars/trucks I have owned since the early 1960s best bet I have had every color except pink.

Probably every color except brown and gold. Two of mine have been yellow.

I had a forest green metallic 1990 Bronco with a tan top. That was really sharp.
