Default A MOST SERIOUS PROBLEM,,, HELP ME TO SOLVE
So, this weekend, the wifey made a comment that my very defined golfing shorts tanline needs to be remedied. I agree, as I am very pale above the knees, and if much more pronounced with the recent voluminous amount of rounds I have played this summer. Does not bother me as much as her, but I need to figure a solution to calm her anxiety.

A few thoughts of my own, comment on each, and / or provide yours:

1) I could wear a speedo on the course, but last time I owned one, pink, the wife claims the dry cleaner lost it, anyone know what a speedo costs these days

2) wear longer socks, up to my knees, but I believe that would compliment the wife beaters I wear on the course

3) buy a pair of tan-thru golfing shorts, but I have a concern my man gear would get sunburnt and that is probably an even bigger issue

4) I could play in the early AM which has less sun exposure, or so I am told, but this would require a severe change in my daily scheduling, as rarely do I rise before 9 AM, getting to the course by 7 AM would require me retiring each evening by 9 PM, AND I do not think I could drink a six=pack on the course starting at 7 AM

5) I could stop plyaing and end my pursuit to qualify for The U.S. Open--my game is ready for primetime, and in doing so would have to figure out what to do with the wifey with those extra 10+ hours each week, currently at about 5 hours a week so I am sure you can see the problem with this

I rarely have any issues, as I just ignore all of them, but this is a pressing one, as am planning on two rounds this week.

One simple solution.... tell her to forget the subject or you WILL wear a speedo around her when she is with friends and family.

Serious answer: go lay out in the back yard with a towel covering the tanned part of your legs, your arms, face, etc., and get tanned a bit on the rest of you. It will take a few sessions, try 20 minutes a side and do it every 3 or 4 days until you/she are satisfied that you now blend.
