That figure is what he is saying he would charge them for his services. His position is probably a $35k-$40k base plus commission (maybe another $15k annual).

so one 'off book' booking a week grosses him an extra 60,000 a year. and you cover his office expenses and give him a nice stipend to live off, and a constant supply of potential clients.....bye, bye.
