A simple solution to keep the Floridiots from using my driveway to reverse direction when they get lost, which is several times/ day. There is a wide intersection 100' past where they don't even have to use reverse gear. This gives them an incentive to use the public space.

We live about 200 ft from an accident-prone intersection. In the event of an accident & subsequent traffic backup, people frequently use our driveway to do a quick turnaround to go find an alternate route. Our house is about 200' from the road, so it doesn't bother us at all. Wear & tear on the driveway is background noise.

And I'm not seeing how your picture shows any driveway intrusion prevention.

-a handful of friendly neighbors/farmers residing over a mile up the road.
-plow guy
-mailman
-occasional utility or propane truck.



When they see us walking around with firearms they wave hello versus calling LE. There is zero reason for most anyone else to be up here.


Edit: why not just put up a electronic controlled gate (andvsome fencing)? It's not THAT expensive considering the benifit.

22 years ago my dad and I drove from CA to Glacier National Park for a family reunion. Spent a lot of time in Whiteaho, as well as Montana and Wyoming. 2 weeks of no litter, no graffiti, nice people, no traffic, polite drivers, and no honking horns.

As soon as we got into Reno, on our way back home, the first black person we had seen in 12 days cut in front of us in a Camaro and threw a McDonalds bag out his window onto the street. It got worse from there.

I may end up in Whiteaho, cold winters and all. It's a beautiful place.

I just don't see how that is going to be a preventative measure. I'm usually driving a very large pickup truck or an equally large SUV. I would ignore the pebble and simply drive over it.

I do like the idea of an electric gate. Looks to be close enough to the house so that running power to it would not be an issue.
