At grocery store pull in mainly because angle parking and avoid the pull through idiots as to avoid the hood dings.
Otherwise I back in or pick a spot to drive through so can just pull out.
The Furd ocean liner is a whole different beast, almost impossible to pull it in so back in if room otherwise park it way out.

Like many other posts, I generally back in. For those of us that drive trucks, the rear overhang is more than the front, so especially along the perimeter it is easier to park deeper in the spot. With the vette, it helps avoid any splitter damage. Lastly with backup cameras it is easy to be very precise, yes I know most have front cameras now, but with our vehicles, the front camera doesn’t activate automatically like the rear does

I prefer to back in to park, but it's not always practical so most of the time it's straight in, back out.

Since I cannot stand people that don't care about other peoples property, meaning door dings, I park as far away as possible so I can just pull in or out. No need to back in.

A few really smalll paarking lots/spots may have no room for this design, but any shopping center that does NOT do this disign is just jack shit stoopid design wise.....

arrow to left above the hyphen line to left below it.......

drive in and out, the entrance/departing lanes alternate...makes reverse gears useless.....and the parking slot/slanted can be double debth too, or even triple for a spot right out in nowhere.....

Interstate rest stops have that for the trucks, real convenient if you are towing a trailer.

Shopping centers will always maximize the parking because the buildings square footage totals are determined by the amount of parking spaces.

My parking depends on what I'm driving, the amount of vechicles in the lot, and the location of the lot.

Big difference If I was in the Vette, my rather large Tundra long cab 4X4, or 2 door jeep.

I always back in the Corvettes, had someone run over the nose of one of my C3s, so I don't give them the chance anymore. It is situational with the truck, regular cab short bed fits most normal spots. Mostly pull the Acura in nose first.

I have never judged any truck 1500 or higher for parking anyway, taking two spots, or line split.

With my Rebel, I parked away and may back up on parking spots depending on the lot's size.
