Default Does anyone here read any of the other forums?
I belong to this site for the car info but there is little posting done regarding midyear tech info. I post here occasionally because when I come to the site I hit “new posts” and the vast majority of posts are in this off topic section.
I don’t understand why there are so many apparently non car guys that come to a car site to post in off topic? Most of the threads I see here are political and/or totally non auto related.

For such a small forum, there's a lot of Corvette and general classic car knowledge here. I'd say the main difference between this and the traditional car enthusiast forum is, if you want tech advice, or to tap the expertise of the members, you have to do it in Off Topic. At least use OT as a notification....hey, got a question about xxxx over in xxxx subforum.

Last July I asked in the Barn C6 forum for opinions about new tires. No answers yet. I did check during the month or so following my post, then forgot about it til now.

Nothing except a smart-aleck post from @Patsgarage in October.

This is not a Corvette forum.
