I have hated the EPA ever since the '70's strange how the creation of that agency and the banning of lead in fuel, and cat ass trophic converters and the MPG drop of the '70's just happened to coincide with all the increased demand for gas, the MPG fall off, and the islamic oil problems.....

I had to deal with the EPA when we had a battery fire/explosion at my last Command. They made life expensive and painful. Lithium Ion battery material was everywhere. We cleaned it up, and after weeks of them figuring out samples, we were able to just throw it in the trash. And the clean up was high pressure water, into the stormy drains. All of this with their approval.
We knew before hand none of it was toxic, and the solution to pollution is dilution.

No, the EPA sampled the materials that were left from the fire. It all met there requirements to be thrown into the dumpsters and the leftover materials, ash etc were power washed into the sewer system.
The solution to pollution is dilution is a joke, LOL.
Now, in reality if you were to go 12 miles off the coast of any country, watch what ships do with their trash, waste oil etc.
