To aid your lack of comprehension skills I'm posting the cliffs version for you to peruse.

My requirements:
Must have comfortable power for dealing with houston traffic (re: big v8 preferred)
Must fit rear facing car seat and allow me to sit infront of it.
Cant be toyota/lexus (i worked for them for a short while fk ‘em)
Cannot be a CVT (not interested not at all)
Wont consider Ferds Eco boooth either.
I probably wont be buying another GM anytime soon
Price range is fairly open, the thought of something sub 40k would be nice and allow me to replace my wife's car sooner but i guess i need to decide on a vehicle first.

He's considering a BMW. Lots of recalls and repairs obviously don't matter.

I don't know. I have the '18 Laramie 2500 4x4 w/Cummins. Has the fold down seat in the front and tons of storage in/below it.

I'm averaging just under 22mpg in stop/go traffic with some highway driving mixed in. mileage seems to go up and stay there when I use the exhaust brake feature in the stop/go traffic, too. Perfect for Houston area.

If the dealership treats me right? Its gotta be better than dealing with chevy...i had a service manager tell me he could feel the torque converter chattering but it wasnt bad enough to fix?! That same dealer left my oildrain loose.
