Torque Specs for Carb to Manifold (Details Inside)
Carb is getting blueprinted and rebuilt at the Carb shop...Had problems with the secondaries and accelerator pump.
Holley 4160 and Edelbrock Performer Intake. I'm thinking about 10-15 foot pounds? |

My carb guy just said to snug it down, no torque spec necessary.
Secondaries were not kicking on completely, basically due to varnish. I asked him if it was possible that the throttle cable was out of adjustment, and he said possibly but not likely. Regardless, I ordered a Trick Flow Adjustable Throttle Cable Bracket from Summit earlier today, looks sweet! Talked to Trick Flow to see if it would interfere with my drop base air cleaner, they said it shouldn't. The Holley Bracket was about 20 bucks more for basically the same thing... |

10-15 lbs isn't much at all,I have always just tighten down a carb in stages evenly among the 4 bolts.
