Good morning Charles and everyone else. Our town is playing in the Grey Cup football championship today so I guess there will be some going on! Win or lose! It's like your superbowl.

Hey Wendy, hope you got some sleep last night for a change.....I sure didn't.

See y'all later....time for breakfast! ...mmmmmm....sausages with maple syrup on them.

I sleep for 4 hours then I wake up, I get up and use the bathroom. I have trouble falling back to sleep. Sometime I play Sudoku to try to make myself sleepy, sometimes it works.

Because of medical reasons my brain has been rewired to sleep for 4 hours then wake up to go bathroom. In my dreams as soon as started dreaming that I was sitting on the toilet, my brain would wake me up and say it's not a dream you need to get up and go. Now my brain refuses to stay asleep longer than 4. I don't like the drowsy feeling drugs give me. The maximum strength Melatonin does not work past 4 hours.

Just the way it is I guess

Breakfast looks yummy Robbie!

a cool and breezy sunday morning here. doggie could not wait for me to get dressed, so we went out with me in my robe and slippers. brrrr..... wind should not blow in certain areas.

headed down to the shop, to make frame #2. eh, keeps me out of trouble, and uses up some stock (and makes the scrap pile a little bigger, i really need to haul it out next trash day).

if any of you have an extra 1500 laying around, and want to get me a surprise present: a Beretta/Wilson Combat 92G Brigadier Tactical 9mm pistol is on my wish list. that should cover the pistol, shipping, transfer fees, taxes, spare magazines, holster, and maybe a hat.

Beretta/Wilson 92G Brigadier Tactical – Wilson Combat

if not, then i'll wish you a very Merry Christmas, and you can do likewise. ooooh, eggnog!

104th Grey Cup football today, up here in the north. Two gun slinging QB's. It's like your super bowl, but IMHO a better type of football, it's about the game, not the money.

You got that right Brian......I hope 'ol Henry will pull a rabbit out of his helmet one more time! Not bad for over 40!

Hey Douglas, don't you have a wood burning fireplace or stove for getting rid of all that hard wood scraps? Love the smell of maple burning in the winter....

we have 3 fireplaces in the house. guess i could wander back down, cut up the long scraps (some are 8' long), and bring them back up to my office fireplace. i have to head back down in a bit to put second coat of finish on the picture frame.

burn or toss, but get that stuff out of the shop!

Trying to find the Grey Cup game on the PC....damn thing is a pay for view on TSN only today. Strange, we get all kinds of NFL games on regular cable TV but can't get our own championship game here. GRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrr.....

I can relate Rob. Since we bought the house in Florida that is less than half the size of our current house, Becka has been on a tear giving things away to Goodwill and the Salvation Army. I have warned the cats not to sit still for too long or they may end up in a box going to a charity!
Getting rid of stuff now even though we don't plan to move for almost a year

Still buying the "family size" as Spence calls it
Can't wait to pull the plug and move but both Becka and I have given a year's notice to our current employers.
Don't want to sound egotistical but both companies have us as high value employees that they know will not be easy to replace but we both are tired and want to get out while we still have our health and can enjoy life.

WHAT A FOOTBALL GAME!!

We won in overtime! I don't remember seeing a game like that.....EVER! We were the underdogs big time, and our QB is 41 years old, but he did it!

Henry Burris......on top at 41.

It was the 104th Grey Cup game for the Canadian Football league.

Good Monday morning everyone and that special squirrelly girl!

Hey Wendy.....how much Melatonin do you take to get to sleep? I've taken Valerian root before with limited results but I'd be willing to try those. I hate the sleeping pills they prescribed for me.....I feel groggy all the next day from them.

No breakfast for me today.....ate too much last night! Just coffee I'm thinking...
