It is a real LT1, but with a '70 LT1 Camaro motor. The car is not flawless, but still pretty good. I think the price wasn't a smokin deal, but still good.

Sounds pretty good to me. Most likely the original motor went "bang" as some of these were run pretty hard. Although not numbers matching, it's close enough.

Was it an A/C car?

My friend has had a 70-1/2 Camaro with the LT-1 since about 1980 and it's a pretty stout motor. Congrats once again.

Congrats!!! Still love the 1970 cause that's the first vette I drove at sweet 16.... It was a 4 speed though.
