N2O and tuning
Getting set to add a 100 wet shot to Sneaks. Cars got a street tune now, adjusted shift points, TM turned down, fan temps changed, no timing advance. Bolt ons are headers, and Vortex Rammer CAI.
Question is, should I have the tune changed to retard a little timing with the 100 shot, or am I going to be fine with that small of a hit of N2O? What's the Barns thoughts on this subject?

If I remember correctly you said you got your kit from Harris... did you get the interface as well? The interface will pull the timing when the nitrous is on and stuff. If not, I would imagine you are going to need to pull some timing for the hit so a tune may be in order. I'm not really sure how they tune for that as you need some way to for the engine to know if your spraying or not or else your tune would be off either when spraying or not spraying.
(Disclaimer) I am a novice and know only enough to be dangerous. Maybe post this question in Ed's tuning sticky.

I got the Microedge controller, but not the interface. 99% sure I'm gonna be fine with stock timing with the 100 shot. Going to give Harris a call Monday and get their take on it. I'll also post up in Ed's tech sticky and get his opinion.

According to the Harris tech guy, with a 100 shot on the LS1, you're fine with stock tuning, so long as you go with colder plugs.
They just dropped off my kit. Can't wait to get this puppy installed and see how Sneaks likes go-go juice!

The kit just got here today Kevin. Gotta find some time to get down to Shagsters mancave, and do ,that voodoo, that we do.
Then I bet that first bottle doesn't last too long.

Going to mount the bottle between the seats, in the hatch area. This way all I have to do is reach back, turn the valve, purge and go.

Between all the snow, Shags being busy as hell in the mancave, and things, there hasn't been time to take Sneaks down to his house and do the install the N20.
I could do it here, but since I can't get a dam skateboard in my garage from all the wifes crap, and it's too cold to work on it outside, that option is out. I could take it up to my buddy Johns HUGE mancave that's heated, has two lifts, and everything you need, but neither of us have messed with nitrous since we were teenagers. Granted, it isn't rocket science, but it sure is something you want to have the electrics spot on. Shags is the electrical guru man. I want him to do my wiring and stuff. That and I just love hangin with those guys. It's always a good ball bustin time! Why else drive a hundred miles just to install something.
