Nope. I want nothing else. This will be my 6th Corvette, and 3rd in my current garage. There is honestly not another car on the planet that I'd rather have...well except for the Ferrari 488 Pista.

And once I get it, I will only keep it 3 years, and I will trade up for the C8 Z06...which I'll keep. I've raced the C8 twice so far and am extremely impressed. I'm sad it's taken this long, but looking forward to finally having one. With my daughter home, we currently have 7 cars. C8 will be 8 and I'll be getting another lift to allow 5 cars in the garage.

I have played "what if" and looked at Audi R8's...which I love, and Lamborghini Huracans, both of which I can afford, but I can't get away from the value of Corvette.

Buy the Ferrari and in 3 years it will likely be worth 125 percent of the buy in. The Vette will likely be just another used Chevy... valuable but not exotic.

I can afford the Audi and the Lamborghini, but not the Ferrari. My 2009 Z06 that I bought 5 years ago for 40k is still worth 40k all day long. And the more that the industry pushes toward electric cars, the more the value of "good old American V8's with manual transmissions will rise"

My C8 will be $85k, which is a blip in the finances. 3 years later, the C8Z will likely be $130k, which commands a little respect. Spending north of $200K for a car commands attention. While I can, I'm not sure I want to, or need to pull the trigger on a 200-300k car. I think the C8Z will be the sweet spot for my finances and will allow us to remain in financial cruise control.
