Any trouble with Yahoo or Firefox???

I went to update my Adobe when prompted yesterday and all hell broke loose. Now the only sites I can get are this one and about half of my bookmarks. Can't get on my Yahoo homepage, mail, CF, any searches, or Utube etc. etc.....all I get is this:

Secure Connection Failed

The connection to my.yahoo.com was interrupted while the page was loading.

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

They have both been extremely slow as of late. Not happy at all, but, I will follow this thread just in case you resolve it.
Firefox support is usually pretty good.

Firefox just did an update the other day/earlier this week.

It stopped showing Bing as my home page. Only major issue I've had so far other than being slow. Just got fiber optic cable and internet is still slow to load.

FF has been giving me trouble for a while. I keep getting a frozen page with a "not responding" message. What works for a few minutes is to shut it down and start over. Microsoft Edge doesn't have that issue, yet.

Anything to do with A Dopey is an automatic Kluster eff......seems that every damn dime something back doors it's way into my machine, it's A Dopey related.....FF tries, but the amount of BS off FB is just ASStounding....enough for me to drop my account, but for the Grandkids pix.....

I can't even get on FF so I'd have to phone them......and that's a PITA.

I HATE bing! MS trying shove that crap down my throat automatically makes me not want it.

Mine's been doing the same thing in the last couple months. Makes a Brrrrrrrr noise and locks up. Have to cut the power and reboot.

This is different though.....all my search functions are down but some of my bookmarked stuff works like the Barn, my weather book marks, but not CF and nothing with picture. Even here the pics in posts aren't showing up?
I think it has to do with the Adobe update that I tried to get. maybe it was a fake one, but the darn thing looked the same as it always has.

Adobe does throw the Mcafee antivrus on too. You have to uncheck it or you will end up with 2 anti virus programs fighting each other. Computer wont be happy.
I would recommend uninstalling Mcafee if it is there, unless of course you use it.

I drive old cars because I can fix them, I still have a flip phone because I like my privacy, AND.....I'll keep using the systems that I like and am used to because learning new systems that don't do anything any better doesn't make sense to me.

Turns out it was a new security suite called Bitdefender. It automatically turned on a extra security wall (called a SSL) when I downloaded an update to Adobe. It thought it was under attack! I never knew about it.....because it was NEW!

Took it in to the Geeks and they turned it off for me in about 30 seconds. I could have fixed it by phone if I could get THROUGH to them on the damn phone!
